Community Chaplaincy & Pastoral Care

As a pastor and chaplain, Rev. Amy Hall brings hope and comfort to those struggling with the ups and downs of life, creates safe spaces for those wounded by the church and carrying much pain and grief, and walks alongside women as they go through deconstruction and search for truth.

Amy’s desire is to lead others to the hope and truth found in Jesus Christ and help them experience transformation that moves one out of a life of oppression into a life of shalom—peace, freedom and wholeness.

Amy also pastors Forest Church, a microchurch at a local park, centered around discovering how God, the Bible and nature intersect. Forest Church creates a space for families to experience Sabbath rest together and to learn the unforced rhythms of grace. Each Sunday brings a different way to experience God and nature either through nature art, nature journaling, a scavenger hunt or contemplative hike, music in the woods or through a community brunch and play time.

“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” Matthew 11:28-30
