Creative Life Coaching
Move from surviving to thriving
Do you desire meaningful support for your healing journey that can help you move from surviving to thriving? Consider virtual creative coaching sessions with Shalom Creatives!
Creative life coaching uses brainstorming and art processing to help you discover that you have what you need within you to push past the mental clutter and internal resistance in order to move forward. Creative coaches believe that clarity and vision can happen through the art making process. Simple art techniques like collaging, color mapping and guided art prompts tailored to what you share draw out what is most important for each session.
Coaching differs from therapy in that coaching is looking at the present to help you create the future you long for, while therapy is looking at your past to help you manage your present. Coaches can help you take what you are learning in therapy and implement it into your life to help you create a life you enjoy living.
A creative life coach offers:
-
caring, confidential, non-judgmental support;
-
a listening ear as you navigate the challenging and often messy places of life;
-
gentle accountability, encouragement and resources to help you reach and maintain goals; and
-
ways to help you explore and create a toolbox of healthy coping skills so you can keep moving toward the freedom and wholeness you desire.
A creative life coach also helps you identify your strengths, name the obstacles and resistance that keep standing in the way, and assists you in finding the motivation to change while holding you accountable to create the change you desire. Finally, a creative life coach celebrates with you as you take steps to achieve your goals and create the life you want to live!
